A Trip to the Zoo!

What a fun day we had at Birmingham's Boo at the Zoo!

The trip to the zoo really tired us out!  The bus ride home was very quiet!

Check out our first Daily Data!  Each week we have a question that students respond to, then we record and analyze our data!

Look at the screen to see how we answered our question on a t-chart.

We then showed our data a different way on a single-loop Venn diagram!

Here's a close-up of our data analysis!  We keep this is our Math notebooks.

Candy Sale Success!

Our school recently had a Candy Sale to raise money...and any student selling more than 5 items won a chance to pie our principal!!  That's right!  Mr. Henderson got pied!  Check out our students as they took their shots!

Pre-pie time...Mr. Henderson representing in his Kindergarten shirt!!

Balls, Ramps, and Roadways!!

We ended our unit on Balls, Ramps, ad Roadways with a bang!  Today we had our showcase where we invited our families to see the roadways we constructed.  They even got to try them out!  Who knew paper towels and masking tape could be so much fun?  We also showed this video to our parents today so they could see all the hard work we've done!
