We've been up to a lot during science time! Our new unit is Balls and Ramps! Through this unit, we will explore properties of motion, like force and acceleration. Check out some of our exciting learning activities below:
Straws and Balls-- We worked with our partner to blow the balls across the table using straws. We learned that balls need force to move! Our class also experimented with using balls of different weight. We figured out that it's harder to move the heavier ball!!
Here we are testing and comparing the bounciness of different balls with our partner.
These pictures show us counting the number of bounces different balls make!
Soon we will begin learning about and using ramps!! More pictures to come!!
